This family holiday complex with a total of 8 lovingly furnished apartments in a country house style is located on the municipal border between Massa Marittima and Gavorrano, in the immediate vicinity of the Agriletizia holiday complex.
The house with its beautiful natural stone facade was completely restored a few years ago. It belongs to an old, partly still inhabited mining settlement. That the area around Massa Marittima was famous for its iron ore mines at the turn of the century (1800/1900) is still evident today in the mining museum in the old town center of this ancient town.
On the fenced property, the pool (13 x 6 m) is the meeting point for young and old. A separate paddling pool (ø 2.44 x 0.76 m) and some play equipment are available for the children. Here the holiday guests get to know each other in a relaxed atmosphere. On the mild summer evenings, you can have a barbecue with your holiday neighbors and enjoy a glass of good Maremma wine.
The house is about 9 km from Massa Marittima and about 7 km from the small town of Valpiana. In addition to a bakery and a small grocery store, there is also a pizzeria. The next restaurant is in the tiny settlement of La Pesta, approx. 2.5 km away. It is approx. 20 km to the sea to Follonica and approx. 3 km to the small, idyllic bathing lake "Lago dell’Accesa".
Each located on the outer corner of the house: Ground floor, separate entrance via a patio door, a living room with kitchenette and a sofa bed for 2 children, a double room, a bathroom with shower / toilet. The apartment has a semicircular terrace in front of the kitchen door.
This type of apartment is entered through a covered veranda with table and chairs. Ground floor: a living room with kitchenette and a sofa bed for 2 people, from here a narrow spiral staircase leads to the first floor. First floor: a double room with balcony, a bathroom with shower / toilet.

The apartments on the first floor and one of the two-storey apartments can each be converted into a large living unit with 6 beds and 2 bathrooms using a connecting door between the two double rooms. The covered veranda of apartment is large enough to provide table and chairs for 6 people.

Final cleaning, bed linen and towels included. Additional bed € 30 per week / baby cot € 30 per week. Surcharge for pets € 25 per week. Use of the washing machine € 4,- per wash cycle (without washing powder). In the cooler season, heating costs (only if required) are charged extra. Deposit € 100 per apartment.
Note: Every Italian municipal administration can introduce a tourist tax. Because this additional levy can be introduced from one day to the next, and varies from place to place, Toscana Sì cannot he give definite information about it.
From the garden and pool you can enjoy a beautiful view of the landscape / the apartments are tastefully furnished in a tuscany country house style.
In the two-storey apartments there is no door between the bedroom on the first floor and the living room with kitchenette on the ground floor / the spiral stairs are quite narrow / the access road (approx. 400 m) is a gravel road, on which there is a bit of dust in summer.
Hallo Toskana-si team, ihr service rund um den Urlaub ist hervorragend! Die Unterkunft war -trotz extrem kurzfristiger Buchung- sehr gut:Die Anlage wird fast täglich von der freundlichen (ich glaube es ist die Besitzerin)Luana mit Liebe gepflegt, der Pool und die Gartenanlage von Fachfirmen gewartet. Ca. alle 2 Tage ist Fr. Schneider -eine Deutsche- als Ansprechpartnerin vor Ort. Eine sehr gepflegte Anlage.

Wenn auch etwas spät, aber auf diesem Wege auch noch mal ein herzliches Danke für diesen tollen Urlaub. Uns beiden und vor allem auch unserem Hund hat es in der Anlage Podere la fucinaia (heute Podere Le Cascatelle) richtig gut gefallen. Super gepflegt und ganz tolles Ambiente. Desweiteren gilt Dir Jutta nochmal ein spezieller Dank für die Tipps und Informationen rund ums Thema Toscana.

Unsere Ferienwohnung in der Anlage, Podere La Fucinaia (heute Podere Le Cascatelle), war einfach klasse.
Wir, und unser Hund habe uns sehr wohl gefühlt. Alles war sehr sauber und gepflegt. Das Wetter hat auch super mitgespielt und somit konnten wir die ganzen Tage das Pool nutzen. Diese Ferienanlage ist sehr zu empflehlen und es war angenehm, so gastfreundlich aufgenommen zu werden.
Wir haben zwar keine Kinder, aber diese Anlage ist für Familien mit Kindern sehr zu empfehlen. B. Kindel
