The former homestead is located on the edge of the forest just under 2 km from the small medieval town of Travale in the Montieri municipality. Here, holidaymakers will find the desired rest and relaxation away from the hectic of the big city.
Antonello and his wife Silvia, who also run the Colli di Travale holiday complex nearby, have had the two natural stone houses, which are connected by a small courtyard, completely restored.
A valley with meadows and fields opens up behind the back of the two houses. On the opposite side of the valley, the village of Travale, with its nested alleys and corners, seems to stick to the slope like a swallow's nest. If you take the leisure and immerse yourself in this sight, you will immediately feel in harmony with God and the world ;-).
A gravel path leads in front of the house, which invites you to take long walks through the beautiful mixed forest. In spring you can find wild asparagus along the way, in autumn you can collect boletus and chestnuts.
In midsummer, the pool (6 x 12 m), which was built on a hill in front of the house, invites you to relax. If you need a little hustle and bustle in between, you can reach the Tyrrhenian coast (Follonica) or famous art-historical cities such as Siena or San Gimignano in less than an hour's drive.
Travale is "strategically" extremely favorable. The place still belongs to the Grosseto district, but the provincial border of Siena is only 5 km away.
You can also indulge in culinary delights in the small country inns in the surrounding mountain villages. One of them is only approx. 1.5 km away from the house at the entrance to Travale. It offers simple, rural cuisine at affordable prices. For shopping (in Montieri) it is about 4.5 km. The coast at Follonica is about 45 km away.
The holiday guests have 4 simple and rustically furnished apartments of different sizes available.
Ground floor - stairwell, a kitchen, a double room, a bathroom with shower / toilet. First floor - a kitchen, a double room, a small bedroom with two single beds, a bathroom with shower / toilet.
