Many years ago, Signora Enza and her Sicilian family moved to Maremma after a 12-year stay in the United States. Meanwhile, at her farm located below Sticciano on the plain between Roccastrada and Grosseto, she also welcomes holidaymakers who appreciate a family atmosphere.
On the extensive property, surrounded by fields, vineyards and olive groves, an outbuilding with a stone facade was built, in which four small holiday apartments have been furnished.
There is a large pool (8 x 12 m) is the center of the community garden and for the younger guests, a swing and colorful play equipment are available. The two small friendly domestic pigs Nina and Babe as well as the goat Tina and the chicken enclosure are a real attraction for city children. The small sympathetic farm dog loves to run together with the cat through the garden.
In another building there is a cozy breakfast room where you can order a cappuccino or espresso during the day and then enjoy it on the large covered porch. Homemade jams, honey collected from a friendly beekeeper, pickled vegetables from their own garden, mason jars with tomato sauce, extra virgin olive oil and local wine are also offered for sale by Enza. These specialties are a pretty or rather tasty gift idea for holidaymakers who want to bring home some souvenirs.
The nearest small supermarket is in Sticciano Scalo (about 6.5 km), the nearest restaurant is just 1 km away, to the provincial capital of Grosseto is about 24 km, to the sea to Castiglione della Pescaia about 33 km.
The location is also ideal for visiting the following destinations: Siena about 67 km, Montalcino about 58 km, the thermal baths in Saturnia about 80 km, the sculpture park of Daniel Spörri at Seggiano about 63 km, the "Giardino dei Tarocchi "by Niki Saint Phalle about 85 km.
The four ground-floor apartments are mirror-inverted, two adjoining each other "back-to-back" and differ mainly in the colors used to paint part of the interior walls, all of which have a small private, fully fenced garden area.
Separate entrance via a terrace (either west or east facing), a living room with kitchenette and a sofa bed for 2 children (3 to 18 years), a double bedroom , a bathroom with shower/WC, a small private completely fenced garden.

Those who would like to get to know authentic southern hospitality, will feel well cared for in this small holiday resort / the host family speaks English very well / Italian breakfast. can be order ed. Our tip: try Enza's home-made granola bars, the nuts and raisins they contain are from their own garden!
The farm at the opposite, which also belongs to the host family, seems a little bit messy / sometimes some traffic noise can be heard from the street.
