On our own Sicily trip we have learned to know and to love the area around Sciacca. The harbor town has preserved its original charm with its hillside old town and it is still a secret tip among tourists.
It is known for its ceramic manufactures. In the narrow alleyways, there are numerous shops offering the hand-painted plates, bowls, figures and Maiolica tiles. On Saturday the weekly market takes place on Piazza Noceto. It is always a special experience to watch the "Saccenzi" (so the citizens of Sciacca are called) while trading and haggleing.
In the harbor every day you can buy the fresh fish directly from the fishers.
This pretty, private apartment is located in a Baglio (so are called the traditional farms, which look like small fortresses), just 10 km outside the town.
The farm is run by Ignazio, a passionate beekeeper. He cultivates the fields, olive groves and orange and lemon cultivation around the farm.
The near lovly beaches are easily reachable (7 km).

One double bedroom, one bedroom with a single bed, a bathroom with shower/WC. Outdoor area with table and chairs on the terrace in front of the apartment door.

Final cleaning and bed linen are included. Towels can be rented for € 5,- per person and change, extra charge for pets € 35,-, heating costs are billed according to consumption. Security deposit € 150,-.
