This private holiday apartment is on the first floor of an antique palazzo, the origins of which date back to the 19th century, in the historic center of the small town of Monforte San Giorgio in the province of Messina.
Mariano, the house owner, completely restored it a few years ago and transformed it into a pleasant holiday home. The accommodation is on two floors. The two bedrooms are on the lower level of the apartment, from which a red granite staircase leads to the upper floor.
Here are the bright eat-in kitchen and the two large terraces from which you can enjoy a wonderful panorama. The view sweeps over the roofs of the old town to the surrounding landscape and the sea, which glitters on the horizon in the distance. You can enjoy the sunrise from one of the terraces and the evening sun from the other.
Numerous historical and cultural events as well as gastronomic folk festivals take place in the lively town, in which both the local population and holidaymakers like to take part.
It is approx. 10 km to the sea at Monforte Marina, approx. 24 km to Milazzo, approx. 32 km to the provincial capital Messina, approx. 59 km to Taormina, approx. 125 km to Catania and Mount Etna.
