On the outskirts of the small village of Montecchio del Loto in the municipality of Cortona we find this completely restored defense tower. At the ground floor we find a large living room with an excite to the terrace, a separate kitchen, a bedroom and a bathroom. At the second floor we find 2 double rooms and a beautiful bathroom with sauna and at the second floor under the roof we find a nice open three bed room from which you can reach to the towers top to enjoy the panoramic view over the lovely Cortona landscape. In the large garden with flowers and each kind of Mediterranean plants, just in front of the shaded terrace there is the beautiful swimming pool (10 x 5 m), where you can watch your children play. The next shop, cafeteria and bakers shop is in the near village of Montecchio del Loto. The next village Carmucia distances ca. 7 km, Arezzo ca. 42 km, Cortona ca. 10 km and the Lake Trasimeno in Umbria ca. 49 km. There is a 18-holes-golf court right in the neighborhood (ca. 500 m beeline).

The house has been restored with an astonishing attention to detail and it is located in a very beautiful landscape.
The wooden staircase which leads up to the little viewing deck on the top of the turret roof is steep. Use is at your own risk.
