This antique stone house is located in the small village of Badicorte in the municipality of Marciana della Chiana. The wonderful landscape of the Valdichiana valley, characterized by fields of sunflowers, meadows and grain fields, is one of the most beautiful in Tuscany.
A few years ago, the old dilapidated country house was brought back to life through a careful renovation and transformed into an elegant holiday villa that offers a lot of comfort. It extends over 2 floors and, consisting of 2 residential units, offers space for a total of 8 adults and one child. An ideal holiday home for two families who are friends and want to experience Tuscany together.
The successful mix of rustic furnishing elements in the Tuscan country house style and modern designer furniture creates a cozy atmosphere. Guests quickly feel at home and can relax and enjoy the privacy of the property surrounded by hedges and red brick walls.
On the long side of the house, the water of the pool glistens in the sun and invites you to take a refreshing dip on warm summer days. The terracotta paved terrace at the back of the house, where a large parasol ensures a pleasant temperature, is a popular place for outdoor dining.
On request, the hosts can organize cooking courses, where they can teach holidaymakers the secrets of Tuscan cuisine in a good mood and with a lot of experience. These courses take place in a large, separate kitchen located on the first floor.
Those who spend their holidays at Villa Ventotto in autumn can experience the wine or olive harvest in the morning, enjoy a typical lunch together with the family and the harvest workers and then visit the winery or the oil mill.
Excursions on horseback, bicycles or quads in the countryside are also available. In the slightly cooler season, a visit to the nearby thermal baths of Rapolano Terme (approx. 16 km) or Montepulciano Terme (approx. 26 km) is recommended. There is a golf course 3 km away.
For shopping you drive to the neighboring town of Cesa (approx. 3.5 km). The provincial capital of Arezzo can be reached in around 20 minutes by car, Lake Trasimeno and the pretty town of Cortona in around 30 minutes. The medieval town of Lucignano, which we particularly like, is about 8.5 km away.
Ground floor - ground level entrance from the covered porch. A large living room with an open fireplace, dining table and access to the terrace at the back of the villa. An open passage connects the large separate kitchen with the living room. In the kitchen there is a direct exit to the terraces. Two double bedrooms and a bathroom with shower/toilet. One of the bedrooms leads directly to the internal staircase that connects the two floors. First floor - entrance by three steps on the front of the building or from one of the bedrooms on the ground floor: a living-dining room with a sofa bed for a child, two double bedrooms, a bathroom with shower and toilet. A terrace with a large dining table and parasol is located at the back of the house. Depending on availability, it is also possible in the off-season to rent only the accomodation on the ground floor for 2 to 4 people (living room, separate kitchen, 2 double bedrooms and a bathroom with shower and toilet). In this case, the upper floor remains closed. Exclusive pool use.

Opposite Villa Ventotto is the restaurant "I Peccati di Gola". Another restaurant and a coffee bar are within walking distance from the house. The extension on the right side of the villa and the adjacent property are uninhabited.
The house is located directly on the SP25 road, which runs through the small town, so occasional traffic noise cannot be ruled out.
