On this antique farm in the municipality of Montespertoli two apartments have been created with great attention to detail. They are located in two different buildings and have a shared prefabricated pool (about 9 m x 4.5 m). It has the shape of an eight and has been so skillfully edged with terracotta tiles that it looks like a swimming pool set into the ground. It lies on a slightly elevated terrace and gives to one side the view into the beautiful landscape and the village free.
For many years, the homeowners have run a ceramics factory, which is reflected today in the choice of beautiful decorations that adorn the walls and shelves of the accommodations. During the restoration and furnishing of the apartments, great care was taken to preserve the rustic, original character.
The location is of course also excellent for trips to the sights of Tuscany. Tourists are spoiled for choice between the famous cities of Florence (28 km away), Siena (55 km away) and Pisa (79 km away), as well as between the smaller, but no less interesting, villages such as Florence, San Gimignano (about 29 km), Volterra (about 50 km) and Greve in Chianti (about 32 km).
You could continue this list of interesting places, because even the completely unknown small mountain villages often hide in their walls art treasures of astounding value.
If you want to visit the sea, pack a picnic basket and drive for about 1.5 hours, either to the beaches of Versilia (between Livorno and Viareggio) or to the coast between Livorno and Cecina Mare.
The kitchen of Tuscany is one of the best in Italy. Many tipical trattorias offer regional specialties. Calorie counting is absolutely forbidden ;-).
This apartment is located in the main house with the beautiful natural stone facade. You enter it from a terrace with table and chiars and immediately enters a spacious kitchen with dining area, on the right there is the double bedroom, straight ahead you reach a small hall, from where left hand you reach the bathroom with shower/WC (handicapped accessible according to Italian standards). Opposite the kitchen is the very large living room with the beautiful vaulted brick ceiling. Here, in a niche, there is a single bed and a sofa bed for one person each. Outside the house a nice place with sun loungers and a private garden area is available to guests. The pool is about 50 m.
In the former barn, this beautiful apartment has been expanded. A very large terracotta tiled terrace leads to the bright living room with fireplace and a sofa bed for 2 persons. Two steps lead under an open arch into the kitchen area with the large dining table. From there you reach the a narrow hall, from which you can enter the double room (there is space to put a baby cot) and the bathroom with shower/WC. Shady patio with table anc chiars in front of the house.

Ideal house for two friendly couples / you can buy an excellent olive oil from the house harvest / the son of the host family operates a winery, where you can buy a good Tuscan red wine / the village of Montespertoli is also within walking distance.
Near the two buildings extends a dirt road, where sometimes pass a truck or tractor.
