This small private holiday resort is located close to the famous seaside town of Castiglione della Pescaiain the province of Grosseto, on the coast of the Maremma.
In the 90s, Francesca's parents realized the dream of rural life and bought this charming property between the evergreen hills and the bird sanctuary Diaccia Botrona.
In the main building, the holidaymakers now find two guest rooms and one apartment on the ground floor. A second ground floor apartment as well as the apartment on the first floor are used by the landlord family.
Three years ago, two other pretty holiday accommodations were built in an adjoining building. On the fenced-in grounds, the children can play, while the "big ones" sit relaxed with a glass of local wine on the covered terrace and enjoy the view into the surrounding fields. In the large communal garden everyone can quickly find their favorite place to sunbathe or to read a good book in the shade of an olive tree.
In Castiglione della Pescaia, about 6 km away, with its romantic old town and the castle, there are numerous small shops, a large supermarket, two discounts, cozy restaurants, a post office and everything you need on holiday.
In the evening, when the boats return to the port, you can watch the fishermen unloading and buy magnificent freshly caught fish. The long sandy beaches reach as far as Marina di Grosseto and further to the nature reserve "Parco dell'Uccellina".
Francesca and her parents are happy to provide guests with tips for excursions in the surrounding area. From the nearby "Isola Clodia", a hiking trail leads directly into the WWF bird sanctuary Diaccia Botorna, where one can observe the pink flamingos and many other water birds. A paradise for hobby photographers.

The quiet, rural location in combination with the proximity to the sea and the small seaside town of Castiglione della Pescaia make this holiday resort particularly interesting. The WWF bird sanctuary of Diaccia Botrona begins in the nearby locality of Ponti di Badia.
With the exception of the Germano appartment the shower cubicles are very small.
War echt ein toller Urlaub und Aufenthalt im Agriturismo. Besonders gut für Radfahrer, da man von dort aus wunderschön ins Hinterland radln kann. Das Herz des Agriturismos ist die Eigentümerin Danila, die sich rührend und herzlich um uns gekümmert hat. Danilas selbstgemachte Torta und Biscotti waren einfach nur "sau guad".
