This lovely little two-room apartment is located on the first floor of a two-storey four-family house in the center of the seaside resort of Castiglione della Pescaia.
If you like spending your holiday in the middle of Italian life, then this is the right place for you. The apartment is located very close to the piazza below the castle with its romantic old town. There are numerous small shops, magazine stands, coffee bars, ice cream parlors and restaurants.
The two beaches are also within walking distance.
In the evening, when the boats come back to the harbor, you can watch the fishermen unloading and buy delicious fresh caught fish. The miles of sandy beaches extend to Marina di Grosseto and on to the nature reserve "Parco dell'Uccellina". But those who love the rocky coast, find in the north between Le Rochette and Punta Ala and on to the Gulf of Follonica numerous romantic small bays.
Francesca, the nice landlady, is always at your guests' disposal with tips for excursions in the area. From the nearby bridge Ponte Giorgino, which divides the town in half, a hiking trail leads directly into the WWF bird sanctuary Diaccia Botrona. Here you can watch the pink flamingos and many other waterfowl. A paradise for amateur photographers.

The central location makes it easy to reach both the beaches and the shops and restaurants in the village on foot.
Due to the proximity to the piazza, the voices of holidaymakers and rattling scooters can be heard until late at night during the main holiday season. The bedroom is located on the quieter back side of the building and is separated from the living room by a hallway and two doors.
