In an ancient house called "Terratetto" in the historic center of the small mountain village of Buriano, which belongs to the municipality of Castiglione della Pescaia, you will find these two characteristic old town apartments.
The house is located on an idyllic little place "Piazzetta" in the middle of the residential apartments of the adorable residents of Buriano. So if you love to immerse yourself in the authentic everyday life of the auspicious, hospitable Maremman villagers, then this is the place for you.
The apartments are on top of each other and are both reachable from a narrow hallway to commit. The decor is rustic and simple, but quite vacation appropriate.
The small village is an excellent starting point to explore the Maremma with its numerous ancient mountain villages, the beautiful coastline with the miles of sandy beaches lined with pine forests and the small coves hidden between the rocks.
In the southern Maremma there are also interesting nature reserves, such as the famous "Parco dell'Uccellina" at Alberese (36 km), the WWF bird sanctuaries "Diaccia Botrona" at Castiglione della Pescaia (20 km) and the lagoon of Orbetello (approx. 60 km).
In the village there is a small grocery store, a breakfast bar and a restaurant. For a bulk buying you drive to the provincial capital Grosseto (about 19 km) or to Castiglione della Pescaia, where there are two discount markets and a small shopping center with a well-stocked supermarket.
One-room apartment - a stone staircase leads to the first floor. Eat-in kitchen with a sofa bed for one person and a sleeping area separated by a curtain, a small bathroom with shower and toilet. In the small piazza right in front of the front door there is a bistro table and two chairs to sit comfortably outside.
Ground level entrance from the hallway - living room with kitchenette and a sofa bed for two children. From a small hall you can reach the balcony which gives a view of the beautiful landscape and with table and chiars invites to lunch outside. Since the house is built on a slope, you can reach from the same hall via a stone staircase up to the lower floor, with the bathroom with shower/WC and the bedroom with a double bed are located.

Note: Every Italian municipal administration can introduce a tourist tax. Because this additional levy can be introduced from one day to the next, and varies from place to place, Toscana Sì cannot give definite information about it. There are two friendly dogs.
Fantastic panoramic view from the balcony of the Scoglietto apartment. Cheap accommodation for a low budget holiday / ideal for two friendly couples. The small place "Piazzetta" on the doorstep may be used by all residents, for example, in the evening under the stars to drink a glass of wine and to talk to the neighbors.
The car can not be parked in the immediate vicinity of the house. But you only have to take a short walks in order to reach the parking outside of the old town walls.
