The old, restored house is situated under a hill below the village of Vetulonia, famous for its Etruscan excavations, in the municipality of Castiglione della Pescaia.

From the fenced garden you can enjoy a beautiful view of the rolling hills with their olive groves, vineyards and forests.

In the two-storey house there are 3 apartments available.

The landlord himself does not live in the house but in the county town of Grosseto. Sometimes, whem he there are no holiday guests on site, he stays in a part of the house called "salone", wihch he reserved for private uusing.

In the garden there is for each of the three apartments parto of a patio with table and chiars. The barbecue aarea is available for common use.

The sea to Castiglione della Pescaia is about 17 km, to the nearest small supermarket, where there is also fresh bread, about 4 km.

Ground floor - a narrow staircase leads left side into a spacious kitchen with sofa bed for 2 persons and a beautiful, rustic fireplace. From there it goes under a brick arch through into a small hallway, from where you enter the bathroom with shower/WC and the bedroom with double bed. In front of the apartment there is a patio with table and chairs from where you can overlook the large comune garden.

In front of the house there is a pergola with private patio, with table and chairs and view into the beautiful communal garden.

Discount of € 50,- from the second booked week.
Minimum stay 3 days.

Additional costs

Final cleaning, bed linen and towels included. Extra bed € 70,- per week. Firewood € 5,- per box. Deposit € 150,- per apartment.

Note: Every Italian municipal administration can introduce a tourist tax. Because this additional levy can be levied from one day to another, and varies from place to place, Toscana Sì can not provide any binding information.

The location of the house is really nice / ideal for friendly couples and families.

The short access road is not paved and therefore a bit bumpy.

Hallo Frau Gramatke, wir sind wieder im kalten und verregneten Sachsen angekommen(es regnet seid vier Tagen wie aus Kannen). Leider ist die schöne Zeit bei Herrn Renieri vorbei. Wir hatten ein traumhaft sauberes, ruhiges, einsames und überhaupt perfektes Landhaus. Ringsum konnten wir viele Tiere beobachten z. B. Fasane, Hasen, ein Reh, einen Fuchs(welcher sich für unseren Frühstückstisch interessierte), eine dicke Kröte, Gottesanbeterinnen und .... Unser lieber Vermieter hat uns sogar angeboten den Restmüll zu entsorgen, da unser Auto so zugepackt war. So einen lieben Meschen haben wir noch nicht erlebt!! Er hat uns sogar von seinem Erdbeeraromawein kosten lassen. Von seinem leckeren Olivenöl haben wir auch noch ein paar Flaschen gekauft, obwohl wir uns vorher bei Ihrer interessanten Ölverkostung schon eingedeckt hatten. Nachdem wir aber nun seid 2001 zu Ihnen kommen, sind wir auf den Geschmack gekommen. Die Weinprobe im "Il Pupillo" war auch wieder Spitze. Die gekauften Flaschen werden uns über den langen Winter helfen!! Insgesamt war es wieder ein superschöner, rundum perfekter Urlaub in der einzigartigen Toskana. Nun müssen wir wieder ein Jahr zehren, ehe wir natürlich wiederkommen. Bis dahin, ciao Ihre Familie Rast
