This small private apartment is located on the second and top floor of a multi-family house in the district "Senzuno" of the well-known sea side town of Follonica. The beach and the beautiful pine forest are only a few steps from the house.
The very nice landlord's family, living on a farm in the hinterland, used this accommodation as a summer residence for as long as the children were still young.
On foot you can reach grocery shops, various fish restaurants, beach bars, a bakery with confectionery, a pharmacy and a magazine kiosk.
Sometimes, the town of Follonica is beeing descripted like an uninteresting location, while holiday resorts such as Castiglione della Pescaia, Talamone or Porto Santo Stefano are usually praised in the highest tones.
Follonica is certainly not the jewel of the coast of the coast, but it is possible, if one looks at this small town, to win a loving side.
In spite of all renovation efforts by the municipality, Follonica has always preserved its somewhat crumbling 60s charm and is therefore much more authentic than many other bathing resorts, which have been properly "cleaned out" for the holidaymakers.
Here, in the narrow streets of the center, there are still some of the "vecchie botteghe", old-fashioned small shops, which often struggle hard (and hopefully with continued success) against the big chain stores.
On the beach promenade you can admire beautiful Jugendstilvillen and directly at the sea the characteristic small beach houses, the latter probably arose at a time when the building permits were not yet taken so exactly. Not only in the main season is Follonica a bustling city, whose typical Italian liveliness also contributes to the tourists.
The bright and friendly apartment is functional. On the large balcony with a wonderful view of the sea there is an outdoor dining area and a sun awning. Here you can have breakfast in the mornings morning or relax in the evening with a good glass of Tuscan red wine.
Second floor - entrance via the stairwell. A kitchen with access to the large balcony overlooking the sea. One bedroom with a double bed, one bedroom with a double bed (140 m) and a small wooden staircase to the attic, which is used as a storage room and remains closed, one bedroom with a double bed, a bathroom with shower/toilet. On the balcony, which can be shaded with a awning, there is a large dining table and four chairs.

Since this additional, compulsory charge can be levied from one day to the next and varies from place to place in terms of altitude and duration, Toscana Sì can not provide any binding information.
The beautiful view of the bay of Follonica and the Elba Island and the fantastic sunsets that you can see from the terrace make this apartment a popular holiday destination.
The bathroom is somewhat older date / in the summer nights, the small piazza in front of the house, with a restaurant and a beach bar, are quite lively to / for the parking search you have to spend some time in the high season.
