This large, restored stone house once used to belong to the old mining company, where It's name comes from.
Inside 5 holiday apartments of different size have been built.
The main house is located below the ancient village Ravi, in the municipality Gavorrano, on a large plot, on which there are also two outbuildings.
In one of them are located the apartments of the landlord family. The other house is near the pool. The garden with its old trees extends over two levels.
The pool (12 x 6 m) is located on the higher ground of the area. The city children are happy to finde some animals in a large enclosure like some goats and rabbits.
The sea is about 20 km, the nearest restaurant about 2 km and the nearest grocery store about 4 km.

Final cleaning inclusive, bed linen and towels have to be brought along. Free W-Lan (only in the garden area). Extra bed (only possible where space is available) € 70,- per week for children under 13 years. Extra charge for pets € 50,- per pet and per week. Washing machine use € 5,- per wash. Heating costs (only if necessary) are charged extra. Firewood € 5,- per box.Security deposit € 200,- per apartment.
Note: Every Italian municipal administration can introduce a tourist tax. Because this additional levy can be introduced from one day to the next, and varies from place to place, Toscana Sì cannot he give definite information about it.
Thanks to the high old trees, everyone can find a shady spot in the garden even in the high summer. If you are not afraid of a walk (approx. 1.5 km), you can reach to the village Ravi by a pedes. A flashlight ins useful in the night, since the path is not illuminated.
The kitchens are partly dark because they are covered by the veranda / the bedroom furnishings are very simply / into the bedroom of the Galleria apartment falls very little daylight, as the window opens to a dark house niche.
Wir waren in diesen Herbstferien (2021) dort. Es waren unsere nachgeholten Sommerferien und es hat sich sehr gelohnt. Das Wetter war fantastisch und wir haben den ganzen Tag draußen verbracht. Einzig der Pool ist um diese Jahreszeit doch etwas frisch, was uns trotzdem nicht von ein paar schnellen Bahnen abgehalten hat. Es gibt Ziegen, Ponys, Esel, Kühe/Rinder, Hühner und und und…. Ein wahres Paradies für Kinder. Die Gastgeber sind sehr lieb und bemüht, es den Gästen so angenehm wie möglich zu machen, ohne dabei aufzufallen. Wir denken schon über eine Wiederholung dieser Ferien nach.

Hallo Jutta und Eva, nach einem Zwischenstopp in einem anderen Teil der Toscana, freuten wir uns, "unser 2. zu Hause" zu erreichen, seit 11 Jahren in derselben Wohnung :) . Giancarlo, der Eigentümer, hat wieder dafür gesorgt, dass wir uns heimisch fühlten. Das vielfältige Restaurantangebot mit den Spezialitäten der Toscana und die interessante Umgebung erzeugen jetzt schon wieder die Vorfreude auf die 4 Wochen Urlaub im nächsten Jahr im La Miniera. Hallo Jutta, nach den herrlichen drei Wochen in der Toscana haben wir schon wieder drei Wochen im tristen Deutschland verbracht. Das Fernweh hat uns bereits wieder in seiner Hand, aber leider haben wir nicht genug Urlaub/Ferien. Die Sehnsucht zur Landschaft, zu den malerischen Städten, freundlichen Menschen und natürlich zum Abendessen beim Umberto in Gavorrano/Toscana weckt die Vorfreude auf vier Wochen in der gleichen Wohnung im Sommer 2001. Halte bitte die Stellung, grüße Deinen Riccardo und plane uns für das nächste Jahr ein. Bis dahin denken wir immer bei einer Flasche "IL PUPILLO" Rotwein an Euch.
