Giovanni, who comes from northern Italy and worked in Germany for a number of years, took over this small winery with his family a few years ago and is now passionate about growing wine and looking after his holiday guests.
The winery is not far from the coast near Follonica in the municipality of Massa Marittima on a narrow, low-traffic country road.
On the ground floor of the main house there is a guest room and two small holiday apartments. An external staircase leads to the first floor, on which there are two other holiday apartments, which are particularly suitable for two families traveling together, as they share a large balcony.
However, the most popular holiday accommodation is the detached house Fiordaliso, which is located a few meters from the main building and offers a view of the pool area. All accommodations are furnished in the rustic Tuscan "stile povero" for holidays.
There is a pool (12 x 6 m) with an integrated whirlpool area available to guests, which was modeled on a rock pool and therefore blends particularly well into the garden landscape.
To the delight of children, there are also animals on the farm such as the friendly family dachshund, which has become the mascotte of the agriturismo, cats, chickens, ducks and rabbits. The winery and the in-house oil mill are housed in an outbuilding.
In 2023, a shaded area with comfortable seating areas was set up in a beautiful location on the site behind the winery. Wine tasting takes place here once a week during the summer months. You sit together in small groups and enjoy Tuscan delicacies with musical accompaniment, which are served with the excellent house wines. The view sweeps over the surrounding vineyards and olive groves, which are shown from their most beautiful side in the countless red tones of the sunset.
It is approx. 5.5 km to the nearest small supermarket and approx. 10 km to the sea in Follonica, and approx. 13 km to the beautiful medieval town of Massa Marittima with its historic centre. The nearest restaurant is about 1.5 km away.

First floor, the apartment is reached via an external staircase - a separate kitchen with 2 small fridges, a double bedroom, a small bedroom with two single beds, a bathroom with a bath and shower screen. A common balcony shared with the Glicine apartment. For both apartments there is a dining area on the balcony. Ideal for families who are friends.

There is no extra charge for final cleaning if the kitchenette is left clean (i.e. no dirty dishes are allowed in the dishwasher). Otherwise € 35 will be charged additionally. Bedding and towels are included. The costs for using the air conditioning or heating system are not charged extra. Surcharge for dogs € 20. Use of the washing machine is free of charge (detergent must be brought with you). Wine tasting can be booked on site. Deposit € 150 per apartment.
Note: Every Italian municipal administration can introduce a tourist tax. Because this additional levy can be introduced from one day to the next, and varies from place to place, Toscana Sì cannot give definite information about it.
In the vegetable garden, the guests are allowed to harvest kitchen herbs and the seasonal vegetables. At Giovanni you can buy excellent cold-pressed olive oil and the good regional wine. If you want to go on a mountain bike ride, you can borrow one of the in-house bicycles.
In the summer, there is a little more traffic on the small road that leaves in front of the farm, as it leads to other holiday resorts and to a restaurant.
