Casa Laguna Orbetello (Grosseto)

The well-known Maremma town of Orbetello lies in the middle of the lagoon of the same name, framed by the two headlands of Giannella and Feniglia, which connect the Monte Argentario peninsula with the mainland of southern Tuscany.
The four-family house is located in a quiet residential area on the edge of the lagoon. The landlady Annalisa, who takes good care of her guests together with her son Luca, lives with her husband on the first floor. The left half of the house is occupied by her brother's family.
The holiday apartment is lovingly furnished and has a well-equipped kitchen. From the large, bright living room you can enjoy a wonderful view of the lagoon, the Feniglia headland, the Porto Ercole marina opposite and the mountains of Monte Argentario. The two bedrooms and the bathrooms are in the back of the house. On the paved terrace, a dining table with chairs invites you to dine al fresco. Since the private garden area is completely fenced, this apartment is suitable for a family vacation with a dog.
The nearest shops and grocery stores as well as the center of Orbetello are within walking distance. There are numerous restaurants, pizzerias, coffee bars and ice cream parlors, banks, a post office and magazine sellers. The historic city center invites you to take romantic walks.
Orbetello has a lot to offer nature lovers. The lagoon is one of the most important WWF nature reserves in Italy, as it is an important stopover for many bird species on their flight routes. Hobby photographers and trekking enthusiasts will get their money's worth here.
The town of Orbetello is connected by a cycle path to the six kilometer long Feniglia nature reserve, which separates the lagoon from the open sea. Fallow deer and numerous other wild animals live in complete freedom in the lush pine forest. The two beaches of Orbetello (Feniglia and Giannella) are about 6 km away and are wonderful for swimming. They are sandy and the shallow water is protected by the pine forest.
