This small private holiday resort is located in the countryside below the ancient village of Scarlino. In the former farmhouse today we find 5 rustically furnished apartments.
In the community garden there is a beautiful kidney shaped pool (9 x 5 m), surrounded by flowering oleander bushes. An ideal holiday paradise for those who don't search luxury on holiday and who prefer a simple and family atmosphere.
The owner Alessandro do not live in the complex, but during the week he comes several times and see if everything is ok and take care of the pool and the garden. Naturally, he is glad to help his guests with tips for discover the immediate surroundings.
The location is a good starting point for excursions to the nearby and also remote environment. The sea is about 6.5 km away. The coastal towns Follonica (about 9 km) or Castiglione della Pescaia (about 22 km) are also easy to reach by car. Here you can take beautiful walks on the beach promenades. The many cafes, restaurants and ice cream parlors invite to enjoy culinary delights.
An architectural highlight is the medieval town of Massa Marittima (about 20 km). There, in the high summer, traditional city festivals and opera nights take place on the the cathedral square. The numerous well-known Tuscan cities with their many art-historical treasures are also nearby: Florence about 150 km, Pisa about 125 km, Siena about 90 km, Lucca 144 km, San Gimignano about 100 km.
Golfers can practice their favorite sport on the 18-hole courses near by Gavorrano (about 11 km) and Punta Ala (about 21 km). The nearest supermarket is located in Scarlino Scalo (about 5 km). There are also numerous smaller shops, a post office, a bank, a tobacco and magazine shop, a pastry shop, coffee bars and some restaurants.

First floor, you reach the entrance by an external staircase, large living room with open fireplace and exit to the terrace, from a small hallway you reach to the bathroom with shower/WC and into a double room (walk through room) with exit to the terrace. The next room with a single bed and a pull-out bed has no door. Also this room has an exit to the terrace.

The final cleaning is included. Bed linen and towels can be rented for € 15 per person. Surcharge for dogs € 35 per week. The electricity costs are billed based on the meter reading € 0.70 Kw/h. Deposit € 150 per apartment (deposit € 300 if you bring a dog).
Note: Every Italian municipal administration can introduce a tourist tax. Because this additional levy can be introduced from one day to the next, and varies from place to place, Toscana Sì cannot he give definite information about it.
The view to the ancient village of Scarlino and the proximity to the sea make the charm of this holiday resort.
The apartments are simple and rustic furnished / the gravel roads to the house (about 500 m) is dusty in the summer.
