This beautiful country house is located on a hillside in the municipality of the ancient village of Scarlino which was rebuilt by the owner Bruno with great attention to detail in a comfortable guest house with a total of 14 rooms and one apartment.
Immediately upon arrival, the holidaymaker is rewarded with a breathtaking panorama. The garden was created on different levels. The pool (7 x 14 m) is located slightly below the house. The associated sunbathing area also offers a wide view of the valley.
Just above the pool is the beautiful conference room, set up in the former and lavishly restored "House of the Spring". This building was the so-called "Fonte" from the 19th century, the source of which was Scarlino's first municipal water supply. Today, this hall can be rented for events, seminars and meetings.
There is also a tennis court and a "games house" available to guests, the latter equipped with an antique pool table, kickboxing (football table) and several table games, so you will not be bored even if it rains.
In the main house there is also a beautifully furnished "salone" with an open fireplace and comfortable sofas. Here you can also retreat to a gallery to read a book in peace or to use the wireless connection and with your own smartphone or netbook to surf the Internet.
In the morning, the breakfast buffet is set up in this nice common room, which you can enjoy on the large panoramic terrace on warm days. On some evenings wine tastings or happy hours are organized, where you can have an aperitif and during the high season, guests may also dine on the panoramic terrace every Wednesday and Sunday (upon prior request). Typical Maremma dishes are offered.
The nearest restaurant is located in Scarlino about 2.5 km away. The sea at Puntone is only about 8 km.
When setting up the rooms was taken to give each a very personal touch. The bathrooms have been designed with great care and style.

Daily cleaning as well as bed linen and towels are included. Additional bed (only in the De Luxe guest rooms and in the 2-room apt. Superial possible) € 30 per day. Surcharge for dog (only small and medium-sized dogs are accepted) € 15 per day. Deposit € 200 per room or for the apartment.
Note: Every Italian municipal administration can introduce a tourist tax. Because this additional levy can be introduced from one day to the next, and varies from place to place, Toscana Sì cannot give definite information about it.
This house has a very special flair and a very nice host / who seeks a neat atmosphere, will not be disappointed here.
Part of the access road is unpaved and therefore a bit dusty. Only children over 12 years old are accepted.
