This small, family-run holiday complex is located on the edge of the forest in the municipality of Sassetta and is surrounded by tall, sometimes centuries-old trees, from which the name "Locanda degli Alberi" can be derived.
The 19th century country house was built as a gift from the bride of a wealthy family. After the descendants had moved to the city over the decades, the building slumbered in a long slumber. From this the house was awakened by Lucia, the current owner, who had it rebuilt with a lot of enthusiasm and attention to detail. Today the Locanda hosts holidaymakers from all over the world.
The cozy holiday apartments and the guest room are individually and attractively furnished. In the garden you can enjoy the sun, relax by the beautiful pool and forget the hustle and bustle of everyday life.
The location of the house is ideal as a location for a vacation that combines culture and beach life.
The medieval mountain village of Sassetta (approx. 1.5 km away) invites you to take short walks with its winding streets. There are a few small shops and restaurants there.
About 5 km away are the "Terme di Sassetta", where you can relax in the midst of a beautiful landscape in various thermal pools with water temperatures between 34°C and 36°C.
The sandy beaches of Marina di Castagneto di Carducci (approx. 14 km), Marina di Bibbona (approx. 21 km), San Vincenzo (approx. 18 km) and the Bay of Baratti (approx. 31 km) are all within easy reach.
Of course, day trips to the famous Tuscan cities should be on the program: Pisa (approx. 90 km), Lucca (approx. 109 km), Florence (approx. 130 km), Volterra (approx. 55 km), San Gimignano (approx . 87 km) and Siena (approx. 105 km).

Final cleaning, bed linen and towels are included. Additional linen change for a fee. Cot and high chair on request € 20. Weekly interim cleaning included (cleaning of the kitchen is excluded). The use of the sofa bed costs € 5 per person per day. An additional single bed costs € 10 per day (not possible in all apartments). Surcharge for dogs € 5 per day per dog (max € 50 per stay). Basket with Italian breakfast brought to the holiday apartment € 10 per person. Deposit € 200 per apartment.
Note: Every Italian municipal administration can introduce a tourist tax. Because this additional levy can be introduced from one day to the next, and varies from place to place, Toscana Sì cannot he give definite information about it.
Direct sales of Pian delle More IGP olive oil. On request, a box with organic fruit and vegetables from the neighboring farm can be delivered. A breakfast basket with regional delicacies can be booked on site. Customer discount for visiting the nearby thermal baths of Sassetta. A weekly shopping service is offered. Cooperation with a professional bike rental company. It is possible to take part in organized wine tastings with a driver service.
The road to the sea is sometimes very winding. The apartments do not have a private outdoor area, the tables and chairs on the large communal terrace are available to all guests.
