This three-storey villa is located on a hill near the medieval village of Suvereto. The location between olive groves and fields with a view of the nearby sea and the island of Elba make this holiday home a real “dream house in Tuscany”.
The garden was laid out on several levels. There is a shady dining area with an outdoor grill near the house. A few steps lead down to the lower level with the beautiful pool (4 x 7 m), which has massage jets and a waterfall. Sun loungers invite you to relax. The outdoor shower, which was integrated into an olive tree trunk, testifies to the creativity of the landlords. There is also a garden area where numerous succulents and cacti have grown to amazing sizes.
The landlord family has been growing olives for several generations. Through the purchase of additional properties, there are now around 7,000 olive trees, the fruits of which are processed into an excellent and multi-award-winning olive oil.
The villa dates from the 18th century and has been extensively restored by the owners. Many details were taken into account when setting up. This created a stylish and elegant ambience.
The floor in the entrance area and in the living room is particularly beautiful. There inlays and mosaics have been laid so that the impression is almost that carpets adorn the floor.
It is about 1.2 km to Suvereto. There are grocery stores and restaurants there. The village can also be reached on foot via a dirt road (approx. 800 m).
The sea is approx. 16 km away. The village of Venturina with its Il Calidario thermal baths can be reached in about 15 minutes by car.
Interesting day trips can be made from Villa La Piastraia. It is approx. 136 km to Florence, approx. 110 km to Pisa, approx. 120 km to Lucca, approx. 97 km to Siena, approx. 94 km to San Gimignano and approx. 64 km to Volterra.
Of course, excursions to the island of Elba are also worthwhile (the ferry port of Piombino is approx. 26 km away), to Populonia with the Etruscan archaeological sites (approx. 24 km) or to Massa Marittima (approx. 25 km).
Ground floor: from the entrance you reach the left into the beautiful living room with mosaic floor and tiled stove, separated by an open wall on the right hand side is the dining room, separate kitchen, a bathroom with shower/WC. A wooden staircase leads to the first floor: hall with direct access to the outside staircase, a bedroom with two single beds and private bathroom with shower/WC, a double bedroom, a few steps lead down to the private bathroom with a large round stone tub, located opposite 2 sinks and bidet and toilet. From the hallway, the wooden staircase extends to the open mansard with two single beds. In the garden in front of the house is a shaded terrace with dining area and panoramic views. Private garden on different levels with pool and sun terrace. Small outbuilding with parking box for 2 cars.

Final cleaning, bed linen and towels are included. The heating costs (liquid gas) are billed according to consumption according to the meter reading with € 8.00 per m3. Very nice, well-kept atmosphere. Quiet location / wonderful view of the garden and the pool area / The village of Suvereto can also be reached on foot.
The last meters of the access road are not paved.
