The small holiday cottage is located in the garden of Villa Maragani in the countryside, about 9 km northwest of the harbor town of Sciacca.
The extremely hospitable landlords live on the ground floor of the main house and are available to their holiday guests if necessary with advice and assistance. The beautiful garden with its agaves, succulents, cactus and Mediterranean tree species such as Zipressen, pines, palm trees and eucalyptus has a calming after a stressful professional life, so you can turn down a gear as soon as you arrive.
Since the house is located on a plateau, the view extends to the sea. The nearest beach is about 6 km away. The location is an ideal starting point for excursions to some of Sicily's famous attractions: the city of Agrigento with its unique Valley of the Temples (Valle dei Templi) is about 75 km away, the archaeological park Selinunte - one of the largest in Europe - approx. 40 km, the small town of Sambuca di Sicilia with its Arab quarter about 30 km, the salt pans of Marsala and Trapani between 80 and 100 km, the ancient theater and the temple of Segesta about 90 km.
The house has recently been completely restored and furnished with modern furniture. On the terrace you can start the day with a relaxed breakfast or end the evening with a glass of good Sicilian country wine.
On the ground near the main villa there is another holiday house, Villa Valenti, allso availeble for the vacancers.
Single house consists of a small living room with kitchenette, a double bedroom, a bedroom with two single beds and a bathroom with shower/WC. In front of the house is a terrace.

Final cleaning and bed linen are included. Towels can be rented for € 5,- per person and change. Deposit € 200,-.

excellent value for money / the sea view from the edge of the garden is beautiful / the host family is very gracious and attentive, without ever intrusive.
The last kilometer of the access road is unpaved and quite dusty in summer.
