This beautiful resort is nestled in the idyllic hills in the municipality of Monterotondo Marittimo on the outskirts of the provinces of Grosseto, Livorno and Pisa.
It belongs to the Agriturismo San Ottaviano, which is about 400 meters away.
The former farm consists of four buildings (some with natural stone facade), which have been expanded to a total of 9 apartments of different sizes and around the pool (16 x 8 m) form a semicircle. A tenth flat is inhabited all year round.
The belonging to the plant garden turns into fields and olive groves.T he paved agricultural road, which leads past the property, is used exclusively for local traffic and is therefore only lightly traveled. To the main road is about 3.5 km.
Driving time to the sea about 30 minutes, for shopping to Suvereto about 15 minutes, to Massa Marittima about 30 minutes.
To the delight of many vacationers, there is a riding stable in the neighboring San Ottaviano, where big and small horse lovers can take riding lessons at Hilary or take trips on horseback through the surrounding forests and meadows.
The restaurant and the riding stable of San Ottaviano are just a short walk away.

Final cleaning, bed linen and towels are included. Extra bed € 20,- per week. Baby cot € 20,- per week. Breakfast in San Ottaviano € 12,- per person and day (€ 7,- for children between 3 and 10 years) / use of washing machine € 5,-. Extra charge for pets € 20,-. Horse riding lessons and excursions on horseback can be booked on site. Deposit € 150,- per apartment.
Note: Every Italian municipal administration can introduce a tourist tax. Because this additional levy can be levied from one day to another, and varies from place to place, Toscana Sì can not provide any binding information.
Very nice location with a wonderful views of the countryside / common room with satellite TV in the neighboring San Ottaviano.
The way to the house leads over a wooden bridge, which does not look solid at first glance. However, it is suitable without any danger for car traffic.
Liebe Eva Hens & Jutta Gramatke, auf diesem Wege schicken wir ein herzliches Dankeschön für die tolle Vermittlung des Podere Massoni sowie Ihre Betreuung im Vorfeld. Es hat alles wunderbar geklappt, wir haben eine schöne Ferienwohnung vorgefunden, die Anlage war top gepflegt, der Pool wurde täglich gereinigt, wir hatten herrlich sonnige & erholsame Tage und sogar die Brücke hat uns täglich „gehalten“. Vielen Dank für den Hinweis im Vorfeld! Da wir das erste mal im August in der Hauptsaison verreist sind, hatten wir die Befürchtung, dass alles "überfüllt" ist. Die Ferienwohnungen waren komplett belegt, allerdings hatten wir tageweise niemanden oder nur kurz jemand am Pool. Auch an den Ständen war nicht die erwartete Überfüllung (Sonntag mal ausgenommen, wenn auch die ganzen Italiener kommen). Die Toscana ist trotz ihres guten Rufes einfach noch nicht überfüllt und für Erholung Suchende genau das Richtige. Auch dieser Toscana Urlaub wird für uns unvergesslich. Hallo Frau Gramatke, auch in diesem Jahr war es wieder ein wunderbarer Urlaub und natürlich noch ein Stück vertrauter, da wir ja Wiederholungstäter waren. Ich kann mittlerweile sehr gut verstehen, warum Sie damals gleich dort geblieben sind. :-) Würd ich nämlich auch machen, aber was nicht ist, kann ja noch werden. Hallo aus Rheinhessen! Ein unvergesslicher und wunderschöner Urlaub ist leider zu Ende. Wer Urlaub in der Natur will und von dort aus ans Meer fahren kann,Kultur erfahren will oder toll italienisch essen gehen will, der ist hier richtig. Majestätische Pinien wechseln sich mit Feldern Olivenhainen und Weinbergen hab. Die Tiervielfalt ist sehr groß und lebendige Wildschweine, Schildkröten, Rehe, Dachse, Eidechsen etc zu sehen ist mit inbegriffen. Wir hatten auch in der ersten Woche besonderes Glück mit unseren Nachbarn (insgesamt 4 Häuser mit 7 Familien). Es bildete sich aus dem Stand eine tolle Dorfgemeinschaft auf Zeit. Die Weinprobe bei Il Pupillo (organisiert und moderiert von Jutta Gramatke) sehr stimmungsvoll an einem gemütlich gedeckten Tisch. Mit wohlschmeckenden und auch bezahlbaren Weinen von der Winzerin Laura & Hilfen kredenzt. Sehr sympathisch auch die Tischnachbarn aus der Nähe von Leipzig. Hallo Familie Koch!!!!! Ein paar Flaschen haben den Weg nach Rheinhessen angetreten und sind auch vollzählig angekommen. Auch Suvereto der nächstliegende verträumte Ort hat Osterien und Ristorante zu bieten, für jeden Geschmack und auch Geldbeutel was dabei. Ein mittelalterliches Stadtfest gabs noch oben drauf. Wir kommen wieder!
