Those who travel to Tuscany for the first time usually have accurate pictures in their heads. Usually, the surprise is great when you realize on the spot that the reality is much nicer than the imagination and that the landscape is far more diverse than you have imagined in your dreams.
This former farmhouse, located in the municipality of Montieri, on the border between the provinces of Grosseto and Siena, is exactly what happens on arrival. You get out of the car and is overwhelmed by the panorama. When Lucia and her husband took over this farm and turned it into a small holiday paradise with great attention to detail, it was also this prospect that gave them the strength and patience to continue and never lose sight of their goal.
In the main house, with its beautiful natural stone façade, apart from their own apartments, three holiday apartments and a spacious guest room. In an adjoining building we find another apartment.
From the large common terrace you can enjoy a wonderful view of the large swimming pool (20 m x 10 m) and the beautiful surroundings. Since the pool is built directly on the slope, you have the feeling of floating.
Here one leaves everyday life and big city hectic behind and switches down a course after only a few hours. In the evening, the incredible starry sky leaves the viewer with the certainty that he is part of a great whole.
Every season has its special charm. If you are looking for peace and relaxation, you will love this place.
The nearest village Ciciano, where there are small groceries, a restaurant and a bar, is 5.5 km away. The unique Cistercian Abbey of San Galgano is only 11 km away. The famous city of Siena is reached after 43 km and the Tyrrhenian coast with its long sandy beaches are also about 43 km.

Note: Every Italian municipal administration can introduce a tourist tax. Because this additional levy can be introduced from one day to the next, and varies from place to place, Toscana Sì cannot he give definite information about it.
If you are really looking for peace and relaxation, here you will find your holiday paradise / the panorama is breathtaking. The guests can buy fresh fruits and vegetables from the vegetable garden (in autumn there are also chestnuts).
The access to the holiday resort (about 1.1 km) is not asphalted and a bit bumpy. 12% incline in places.

Hallo, Nach zwei wunderschönen, unvergesslichen Wochen Familienurlaub wollen wir ein kurzes Feedback geben. I Monti ist ein Traum. Alle die Ruhe und Erholung suchen sind hier genau richtig. Die Vermieter Lucia und Emilio sind zwei absolut herzliche Menschen und zu jeder Zeit sehr um das Wohlergehen ihrer Gäste bemüht. Die Wohnung war sehr sauber und es fehlte uns an nichts. Der Pool und das Panorama grandios. Und wenn Hilfe nötig war waren Emilio und Lucia immer da und sehr bemüht. Es gab tolle Tips zum Radeln, Einkaufen, Parkmöglichkeiten in Florenz, leckeren Salat aus dem eigenen Garten......... kurz gesagt wir waren begeistert. Wir waren bestimmt nicht zum letzten mal in I Monti. Einziger Nachteil, der Weg zum Haus ist unbefestigt und teilweise steil aber nicht unüberwindbar. Wir freuen uns auf das nächste mal.
