Tenuta Santa Trice Riotorto (Livorno)

The Villa Santa Trice with its beautiful natural stone facade was built at the beginning of the 20th century by a noble family from North Italy and was used as a summer residence for several generations. It is located on a hill surrounded by forests, olive groves and vineyards near the small village of Riotorto in the municipality of Piombino.
The interior of the house was extensively renovated in winter 2017/2018. Today you can find 2 guest rooms, a suite and 8 holiday apartments of different sizes were set up on 3 floors with great attention to detail and stylish taste. From some windows on the upper floor the view extends to the sea and the Elba island on a clear day.
In the park around the villa there are a kidney-shaped pool (12 x 6m), a barbecue area, benches and sun loungers. In the garden, on the veranda or by the pool, guests can enjoy excellent dinners and aperitifs prepared according to the seasonality of the ingredients.
About 800 meters from the main house, directly on the access road, is the Villetta Santa Rosa, the former home of the land agent. It was completely restored in 2019 and one two- and one three-room apartment were created. On request, the entire house can be rented as a holiday villa for 8 people. In this case, the entire outdoor area is available to guests for private use. The large pool, which is located in the communal garden of the main house, can also be used by the guests of Villetta Santa Rosa.

Mortelliccio beach is about 10 km away. Other beautiful beaches (Torre Mozza, Carbonifera and Parco della Sterpaia) can also be reached in about 15 minutes by car. The village of Riotorto is approx. 6.5 km away, it is approx. 10 km to Venturina with the well-known Calidario Thermal Baths, approx. 15 km to the seaside resort of Follonica and to the ferry port of Piombino (from there you can cross over to the island of Elba) 25 km (Piombino has a very pretty old town, which is ignored by most holidaymakers because of the industrial facilities at the entrance to the town.
