The Villetta Santa Rosa belongs to the Tenuta Santa Trice, which is located near the small village of Riotorto in the Piombino municipality. At the beginning of the 20th century, the former country estate, which sits idyllically on a hill surrounded by forests, olive groves and vineyards, was built by a noble family in northern Italy and served as a summer residence for several generations.
The Villetta Santa Rosa, which is about 800 meters from the country house, is located on the edge of the forest, and in winter 2019 has been renovated. A two- and a three-room apartment was set up, which can also be used as a large living unit if required. The garden of the two-room apartment is completely fenced.
Guests of Villetta Santa Ros can use the large pool (12 x 6 m) with sun loungers which is located in the park around Villa Santa Trice. In the garden, on the veranda or by the pool, they a can enjoy excellent dinners and aperitifs prepared according to the seasonality of the ingredients.
The location of the holiday villa is ideal for vacationers who are looking for peace and relaxation. Mortelliccio Beach is around 9.5 km away. Other beautiful beaches (Torre Mozza, Carbonifera and Parco della Sterpaia) can also be reached in about 15 minutes.
The village of Riotorto is approx. 6 km away, it is approx. 9.5 km to Venturina and the well-known thermal bath Calidario, approx. 14.5 km to the seaside resort of Follonica and to the ferry port to Piombino (from there you can translate to the island of Elba) it is 24.5 km. By the way, Piombino has a very beautiful old town, which is definitely worth a trip.
