This holiday home (225 sqm - 8 people) belongs to the Castello Ginori di Querceto in the municipality of Montecatini Val di Cecina near the village of Ponteginori.
It is to the side of the entrance to the medieval hamlet and has a private, fenced-in garden. If you want to spend your vacation in a detached house, but still don't want to do without the service of a holiday complex, you will find your dream home here.
The gueste of this house can use the community garden with the large swimming pool (18 x 8 m) like all other holiday guests in the complex. This garden is localed outside the ancient city wall. In its pool area, a changing room and a toilet are available to guests.
The romantic village of Querceto with its ancient town center and its castle is a very special architectural jewel. Here the holidaymaker immediately feels transported to another time, so that it does not take long for everyday stress to be completely forgotten.
In the small bar / trattoria "La Locanda del Sole" you can enjoy an Italian breakfast (consisting of a cornetto and a cappuccino) in the morning and Tuscan delicacies at noon and in the evening or chat with the locals.
Querceto is also an excellent starting point for excursions to Volterra (approx. 25 km), San Gimignano (approx. 53 km), Siena (approx. 75 km), Pisa (approx. 78 km), Lucca (approx. 106 km ) and Florence (approx. 105 km). For shopping you drive either to Ponteginori (approx. 6.6 km) or to Cecina (approx. 22 km).
The nearest beach can be found in Marina di Bibbona (approx. 22 km) or in Cecina Mare (approx. 25 km).
The two-story house is divided as follows: ground floor, a small hall, a small laundry room, a kitchen with an open fireplace, a living room, a double room with bathroom (tub / toilet). First floor: a double room with private bathroom(tub/toilet), one bedroom with two single beds with private bathroom (shower / toilet), one bedroom with two single beds, separate bathroom with tub / toilet.

The final cleaning is included, provided that the house, above all the kitchen (please do not leave dirty dishes!) is left in a tidy and swept-clean condition, otherwise an extra € 25 will be charged. Intermediate cleaning on request € 10 per hour. Bed linen and towels are included. Children's bed € 35 per week, additional bed € 70 per week (only possible for children up to 12 years!). Surcharge for pets € 35 per week / firewood is not charged extra. Deposit € 200.
Note: Every Italian municipal administration is free to introduce a tourist tax. Since this additional, mandatory fee can be levied from one day to the next and also varies from place to place in terms of amount and duration, Toscana Sì cannot provide any binding information.
Upon request, guests can have breakfast at the Locanda del Sole. It is also possible to book half-board.
The last stretch of the road that leads to the village is quite narrow and winding.
