If you spend your vacation in this nice stone house, you will have the Tuscany at your feet ;-). The house impresses with its really beautiful panoramic location. The view remains open on three sides and wanders over a breathtaking hilly landscape with fields, olive groves, vineyards and mixed Mediterranean forest. On particularly clear days, the view extends to the sea at the “Parco dell’Uccellina” nature reserve.
The house is located between Campagnatico and Istia d’Ombrone and is part of an approx. 60 hectare farm, which also includes an ancient manor house and the Agriturismo La Casetta with two beautiful holiday apartmentsand and also the nice litte holiday home La Stallina. The picturesque “Casa Padronale” (mansion) also houses the owner's apartment, a small private guest apartment for 2 people and a centuries-old family chapel.
Poggio al Vento stands apart from the other buildings, so that the holidaymakers are completely to themselves. The outdoor area offers a terrace on 2 sides of the house, so that you can dine outdoors (barbecue available). A solar cell panel installed on a house wall provides warm water in the house.
There is no landscaped garden as the property merges into fields, meadows and olive groves. An approx. 50 m long path leads down to a natural terrace in the terrain, on which there is a pool (14 x 5 m). Although this is not exclusively available to guests at Poggio al Vento, sometimes it is rarely used by the respective residents of the manor house.
It is approx. 8 km to the next town Istia d’Ombrone, approx. 15 km to Grosseto and approx. 27 km to the coast.
On the ground floor there is a spacious livingroom with an open fireplace an a kitchen corner, a double bedroom, a bedroom with two single beds and an exceptionally nice bathroom with shower / toilet. A spiral staircase leads to the first floor, which can also be reached from outside via a stone staircase. There is another bedroom with a double bed and a cozy niche with a sofa on which a child can sleep (a folding bed can be provided instead of the sofa if required) and another bathroom with tub / toilet. A glass door leads to a small roof terrace. The owner's love for South America is reflected in the colorful and rural decor of the house.

Final cleaning, bed linen and towels are included. Firewood € 5 per box. The gas for the heating (only when required) and for the gas grill is billed according to consumption. Deposit € 300.
Note: Every Italian municipal administration can introduce a tourist tax. Because this additional levy can be introduced from one day to the next, and varies from place to place, Toscana Sì cannot he give definite information about it.

The dirt road that leads to the house is not for lowered cars. With a normal car, however, it can be driven on without any problems.
